Severe Cold Weather Alert starting from 6pm Sunday 2/16 through 12pm Saturday 2/22.
Project includes traffic calming and streetscape elements to Spruce Street in the vicinity of the East Side Resource Center and Nathan Hale. It also includes the construction of a pocket park with small spray pad at the corner of Spruce St and Birch St, a walkway connecting Cottage St and Spruce St and a new basketball court on the Nathan Hale parcel.
The project is primarily funded with federal grants (American Rescue Plan Act and Community Development Block Grant Program).
Construction is expected to begin in April 2025 and take approximately 5 months to complete.
