Hot Weather Alert 6/11-6/14

The Extreme Hot Weather Protocol will be activated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and continues through 6:00 PM on Sunday, June 14, 2026. During this period, temperatures are expected to reach at or above 90°F for three or more consecutive days. Residents are advised to please take proper precautions.

2026 Cleaning of Water Mains

The Water Department will be flushing water mains in areas of the distribution system. Please see the attached list of streets for this week of flushing.

Fire flow tests and hydraulic capacity tests of the system will also be done during this week in an effort to decrease the disturbances to our customers.

The Oak Pump Track

Please be advised that the pump track section of The Oak will be closed for repairs from today through Thursday 6/11. Contractors are currently on-site completing the necessary work. For everyone’s safety and to ensure the repairs are successful, please stay off the track until repairs have been completed and the track has fully reopened.

Library

The Manchester Public Library will be closed for the town holiday of Juneteenth on Friday, June 19th, 2026.

Our new system and online catalog are live! If you had bookmarked our old catalog, please switch out the link to the new one. When you log in to your account on the new catalog you will need to reset your pin.

Please note: some items have not migrated over to Vega (our new online catalog) and will not show up in our online catalog, even if we own them. The computer software company is aware of this and is working on fixing it. You may always contact the library directly to help you locate an item to ensure the most accurate information.
