WORK_SPACE, Manchester’s municipally owned and operated Coworking, Meeting & Gallery Space on Main Street, is continually seeking ways to increase engagement and opportunity and remove barriers to mobility and participation. Due to support from the Board of Directors, the collaboration of multiple town departments, and Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), WORK_SPACE now has electric push button door operators at its front and back entrances, in elevator vestibules and by all bathrooms.
WORK_SPACE Manager Stacey Zackin says “Hospitality is one of WORK_SPACE’s primary values and we do our best to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Whether you are a member who runs your business from here on a day-to-day basis, a local resident who visits the galleries every few months to see our current art exhibit, or a one-time visitor attending a meeting or event in one of our seven meeting spaces, we want to make your time with us pleasant and effortless. Now, regardless of age or physical ability, everyone can move through our building with ease and autonomy.”
