Deputy General Manager Kasia Purciello welcomed Sarah Howard, Leader of Manchester Girl Scouts Troop 10599 and her group of Daisy-Brownie Girl Scouts to the Manchester Town Hall on Nov 18th. The ladies met for a question-and-answer session where they learned about the core functions of local government and were presented with informational packets on Manchester’s upcoming Bicentennial Celebration.

“It was a pleasure meeting the Girl Scouts and showing them how local government works,” said Deputy General Manager Kasia Purciello. “I hope they gained inspiration and memories to take with them as they grow to become active leaders in their community.” After their session, they embarked on a tour through the Town Hall, visiting Manchester’s Assessment & Collection Office, Town Clerk’s Office, and Customer Service & Information Center, where they spoke to Town Staff and learned about Manchester’s history and public services.

The Town of Manchester thanks the Manchester Daisy-Brownie Girl Scouts for visiting and welcomes them back anytime!
