Forecasters are predicting low temperatures throughout the week with single digit overnight lows on Friday and Saturday night. Residents are advised to stay indoors; if you must go out, please take proper precautions.
The Manchester Weiss Center (479 Main St), Senior Center (549 Middle Turnpike E) lobbies, and Manchester Libraries are available during regular hours for anyone needing respite. Manchester Police Department Lobby (239 Middle Turnpike E.) is a warming area for residents.
If you are at risk from the cold, please feel free to call 860-645-5500 for help.
Individuals who are unhoused and in need of assistance should contact 2-1-1 or MACC Charities.

Mary Cheney Library (586 Main St.) | Open Monday thru Thursday 9AM - 9PM, Friday & Saturday 9AM-5PM, (Mary Cheney Library will also be open on Sundays from 1PM - 5PM until March 24, 2024)
Whiton Branch Library (100 N. Main St.) | Open Monday thru Thursday 10AM - 8:30PM, Friday 9AM- 5PM (Whiton Library will also be open on Saturdays from 9AM - 5PM beginning January 6, 2024 until March 30, 2024)
