A severe cold weather alert is in effect Friday, January 23, at noon until Wednesday, January 28, at noon. If you are at risk from the cold, please feel free to call 860-645-5500 for help. Individuals who are unhoused and in need of assistance should contact 2-1-1 or MACC Charities.
Trash and recycling curbside collection will not occur on Monday, 1/26. The normal collection schedule will be pushed back 1 day all week. Residents should keep their trash and recycling bins away from the streets and sidewalks until after snow cleanup has been completed.

This project includes the replacement of approximately 750 cobra head style street lights at various locations within Town. Upon completion of this project, all cobra head style street lights in Manchester will have been upgraded to LED. A future project to convert remaining lantern style street lights will be forthcoming in 2023.
