The State of Connecticut is under Extreme Fire Danger The outdoor burning ban for Manchester will remain in effect, this includes the use of consumer grade sparklers and fountains.
Construction work has resumed on Boulder Road and is anticipated to be completed by the end of May.
The Town of Manchester Department of Public Works, Engineering Division proposes work under this contract that includes the replacement of approximately 12,000 linear feet of water main, 11,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer main and the resurfacing of approximately 36,000 square yards of roadway in the Robert Road neighborhood. Project includes appurtenant work such as installation of water and sanitary sewer services, pipe abandonment, installation of storm drainage systems, extruded concrete curb, lawn restoration, pavement repair and traffic control.
The Town owned streets within the project work area include: Robert Road, Richard Road, Raymond Road, Waranoke Road, Adelaide Road, Jean Road, Elwood Road, Steep Hollow Lane, and a portion of Boulder Road.
