In partnership with the Town of Manchester’s Recycling and Community Service Coordinator, come find out which items should be placed into your recycling bin (What’s IN) and which items belong elsewhere (What’s OUT)! Guest Speaker Sherill Baldwin from the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) will provide an overview of recycling programs in CT, current markets for our materials, and how to recycle right. Current projects include the Increase Reuse and Recycling Working Group for the CT Coalition for Sustainable Materials Management, RecycleCT Foundation, What’s IN, What’s OUT initiative, and overseeing the CT Business Recycling assistance project.
