Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Urban Forestry Partnership Coordinator Chris Teter will present on regional and national trends in urban forests, as well as proper guidelines for tree selection, planting, and care of trees in Connecticut.

Chris is a Certified Master Arborist with the ISA, a CT Certified Arborist, a UConn Master Gardener, and a NOFA Organic Land Care Professional with a degree in Environmental Science and Plant Biology. His mission is to reduce temperatures in cities while simultaneously increasing carbon capture and bettering the physical and mental environment of urban communities.
