The Manchester Human Services Department's mission is to promote the health and well-being of Manchester residents. The Human Services Department includes the Manchester Health Department, Senior Adult and Family Services, the Manchester Senior Center and Human Services Administration. Human Services Administration

Human Services Administration

Human Services Administration provides oversight of the department budget, over-all program planning and development, as well as coordination and administration of health and human services programs in the Town of Manchester.  Human Services Administration also oversees funding to several community agencies and programs such as Volunteer Income Tax Assistance, Government Academy, Neighborhood Assistance Act programs, Senior Volunteer Tax Credit programs, Back-to-school program, Veterans services and many more. Senior, Adult and Family Services

Senior, Adult and Family Services:

Manchester Senior Center

Manchester Senior Center:

Under the leadership of Senior Center Director, Eileen Faust, the Manchester Senior Center promotes socialization, community involvement, independence, and enrichment of the lives of older adults in Manchester. Manchester Health Department

Manchester Health Department:

Under the leadership of Health Director Jeff Catlett, the Health Department addresses the Public Health needs of  Manchester residents and ensures that they have access to the  preventative services required to remain healthy. Continuum of Care

Manchester Human Services coordinates the meetings of our local Continuum of Care.  The Continuum of Care Working Group is an affiliation of local and State agencies, and non-profit organizations and service providers that work together to collect, assess and distribute information about and advocates for the development of housing, programs and services to provide and maintain adequate, affordable housing and supports for the homeless and those at risk of homelessness. 

These meetings take place monthly, on the 3rd Friday of the month at 9AM via zoom unless there aren't enough attendees. To be added to the email list for updates and meeting notices, please contact Joel Cox at jcox@manchesterct.gov or 860-647-3091.
