Come and discover the Woodbridge Farmstead Museum, a property of the Manchester Historical Society. The Farmstead is a charming combination of vintage buildings and bucolic landscape. Take self-guided tours through the 18 th century barn and the 1830 farmhouse. Check out the Visitor Center displays highlighting the Manchester Green area.
The Town Historian, Susan Barlow, will stop by at 12:30 on Sunday, August 27 to share stories about Manchester's 200th and 100th anniversaries, as well as the beginnings of Manchester in 1823. We’ll discuss the drastic changes in these time periods. Rain or shine. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
The Woodbridge Farmstead Museum is located at the Manchester Green, near the intersection of Woodbridge Street and East Middle Turnpike. Visitors can park behind the barns, from the entrance on Woodbridge Street, or on East Middle Turnpike. Please be careful entering and exiting the parking area. Overflow parking is also available at the nearby Senior Center.
