Woodbridge Farmstead Open House

There will be a free open house on Sunday, August 13, from 12 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Woodbridge Farmstead Museum. 

Join us in celebrating Thelma Woodbridge’s birthday!  She would have been 112 years old!  We’ll be celebrating with cake and lemonade!  And, in honor of Thelma’s many years as an educator in the town of Manchester we will be honoring her memory with a book swap.  Bring a book and take a book home.  Find a shady spot while you’re here and read a book or two!  Sign in at our greeting table and you will be entered into our prize drawing for the day. 

If you have time check out our Visitor Center which has displays highlighting the Manchester Green area.  Take self-guided tours through our late 18^th century barn and our 1830s farmhouse.  As always, games will be set up for the children and crafts such as making beaded bracelets or painting rocks will be available. We are located at 495 East Middle Turnpike in Manchester. Parking available off Woodbridge Street behind the barn and through the gate.  Please be careful entering and exiting our parking area.   Overflow parking is also available at the nearby Senior Center.
