The Wall That Heals Arrives Sept. 17, 2024 at 11 AM!

Be a part of this extraordinary event of welcoming The Wall That Heals into our community. 

On Tuesday, September 17 at approximately 11 AM (Please note new time!), a large motorcycle and police escort will accompany the oversized trailer carrying The Wall That Heals into Downtown via exit 3. It will proceed up Main Street, right on Center, and right down Spruce Street into Charter Oak Park, where it will be greeted and welcomed into Town. The trailer, which transforms into the Mobile Education Center, will be opened up for visitors for a few hours. On Wednesday, The Wall set-up begins and will open to the public after 2pm.

The Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial along with a mobile Education Center, will be open 24 hours a day and free to the public September 19- 22, 2024.

Please come out to honor veterans and show your pride and support by lining the streets as the motorcade goes by. If you are a business owner, maybe consider dressing your windows with a military or patriotic theme.
