PLEASE JOIN US:  Thursday, March 7th, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

LOCATION:   Midwest Food Bank (440 Adams Street, Manchester)

FEATURED TOPIC:  “Amplifying Voices in the Community and Beyond"

Last fall, MCSC's Legislative Breakfast had one of our largest meeting turnouts yet. Now we'll take a closer look at the strategies we can all use to make our voices heard with elected officials. Whether you work with a social-services organization or support community members who rely on them, you won't want to miss this informative presentation.

Our key presenter is Jeff Shaw, MA, MPH. He is Senior Public Policy Advisor at The CT Community Nonprofit Alliance, and has generously agreed to give us his firm's perspective now that the Conn. General Assembly is in session.

NETWORKING:  Please join us at 8:45 a.m. for coffee/tea/refreshments.

FOR YOUR SAFETY:  If you require parking close to the building, please arrive early and use the spaces next to Midwest's main entrance. You may park directly behind cars already parked there, for the duration of our meeting. In the event of snow cancellations, MCSC follows Manchester Public Schools' schedule.
