All welcome -- experts and beginners

Genealogy Group Meeting

Special guest Noreen Palladino Cullen will present "Search Tips and Approaches for Any Records," addressing "what to do when a computer or record search does not result in a finding. We sometimes have to use creative twists and turns in our own thinking to shake records out of a database on websites such as Ancestry.comFamilySearch.org, military records, Census Reports, and other sources. Bring questions in with you, if you wish. Each ethnicity has certain challenges, so feel welcome to bring in the ethnicities involved in your searches."

Noreen Palladino Cullen has been doing genealogy for over thirty years. She began with her own family lines and was soon making family tree charts for friends and relatives. Before there were online databases, she learned how to search by visiting town halls, cemeteries, and local libraries. She spearheaded the conversion of the Manchester Evening Herald microfilms to digital images.

Free to Society members; $3 for non-members.
