Charter Oak Park and Environs

Free history walk on Saturday, October 7, at 10:00 a.m., starting at the pavilion near the music garden in Charter Oak Park, 50 Charter Oak Street. This walk will visit the park, where there were woolen, cotton and paper mills in the 19^th and early 20^th centuries. We’ll also visit the East Coast Greenway, and other features of this area of Manchester. Rain or shine, but extreme weather cancels. One of the 23 walks in 2023, celebrating Manchester’s 200^th birthday. More info on the events page of www.manchesterhistory.org.
