CPR & First Aid Courses

All these classes are at the Fire Station 75 Center St. Manchester CPR. Please use the back door to the fire station and take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. 

8:30am to 10:30am / 11:00am will be an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS AED class for Healthcare Providers, first responders, their support staff and college students who are going into the health field. This course goes over choking relief, Adult and Infant CPR, AED with the use of a Bag Valve Mask (BVM) device for respirations and emphasis on team dynamics.

8:30 am to 10:30 am American Heart Association (AHA) Adult and Infant CPR AED - this course goes over choking, stopping bleeding, splinting, and frostbite. Plus common medical emergencies such as diabetic shock, fainting, heart attack & stroke & many other life-saving skills. Additionally, adult. child & infant choking & CPR. While still following AHA guidelines some class subject can be catered to your group needs.

8:30am to 2:30pm with a 45 Minute Break Pediatric & Adult First Aid CPR - this class is geared toward parents, foster parents,, Childcare Providers, school staff, couches, babysitters and daycare provider. Febuary 22nd

As well as our Medication Administration and EPI class on February 6th live through zoom 6;15pm - 9:15pm - Medication Administration for Childcare Providers and Parents, (full Med Cert) 3 hours for Full Class,   training course for child care providers: required by the state of Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. Students receive a 8" x 11" Medication Administration Certificate. The Certificate is valid for 3 years for oral, topical & inhalant medication and 1 year for injectable medications by a pre-measured commercially prepared syringe (EpiPen refresher) -1 hour for Epi Only. This class is taught live through Zoom  & usually b held on the first Thursday of every month.
