Typically, the narrative of these towns is centered around the European settlers who arrived and established themselves here. But there's so much more to the story than that. Today, we're shifting the focus to gain a deeper understanding of the people and cultures that existed here before the arrival of Europeans. I'm excited to be joined by Steven Penney, an expert in the history of these towns. He's spent years researching and uncovering the stories of the indigenous people who lived here.
