Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)

  • Housing Rehab Program: The Town of Manchester uses a portion of its annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to run a Housing Rehabilitation Program. This program addresses lead paint hazards and property maintenance code issues in owner- and renter-occupied properties. For more information on the program and eligibility, click here
  • Emergency Replacement Program: Manchester uses annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to support an Emergency Replacement Program for eligible property owners town-wide. This program can address situations that the threaten the health and/or safety of a property's occupants and need to be completed on an emergency basis. Examples of the most frequent types of replacements are: boilers, furnaces, water heaters, sewer laterals and water mains. For information on the program and eligibility, click here.
